Tincture of Lavender, Lavandula angustifolia
Calming and gentle in nature, lavender tincture has herbal benefits to improve sleep, lift the spirit, soothe mild anxiety and depression, and ease headaches. Lavender has natural sedative properties and can be used in treatment of mild anxiety and depression (especially helpful during menopause). Lavender is also anitmicrobial, and can be used in various applications of wound care, often as an ingredient in salves. Lavender tincture can be added to liniments or sprays for a similar effect.
Lavender tincture may also have benefits to ease nervous stomachs, relieve gas and help with motion sickness.
Tincture of Lavender
Shake bottle well before using. Place 1 dropper full into 2 to 4 ounces of juice, 2 to 5 times per day. Best taken between meals.
